My first DT card for Artists Inspiration

First i would like to say that i am now a very Proud Member of the Artists Inspiration  Challenge Blog and this is my first Card as a member of the DT. So please pop over to the blog and see the fabulous work by the rest of the DT.
I am so pleased to be doing this Card as it is always nice to use different images and this one came to me as soon as i saw it what i wanted to make with it. I think this one could be a male or female card which for me is always very handy to add to my male card stash.

The image i have used for this card is from  QKR Called Bird box and Vines, coloured with Copics.
The Cardstock to make the stepper card is from Stash.
The die cut is an Xcut large dies and the sentiment die cut is a Spellbinders Shapeabilities.
The little birds are a Martha Stewart punch and stamp.

More Exciting News

I am now a very proud member of the Artistic Inspiration Design Team .  I am so pleased to be a part of this team and yet again I will be working, or should i say playing along side my Daughter Claire and some other great Designers on the team.  I will of course update you all when i have made my very first card for them along with more details of their Challenge Blog.

Chickadee

I made this card a couple of days ago and never got round to blogging it. I am trying to get a few male cards in my stash as i always get caught out when it comes to a family members birthday and my brain then goes blank.

Here is my Latest DT Card for Challenges 4 Everybody

Good morning Everybody the challenge this week is sponsored by Sassy Design Studio - and the image i have chosen for this challenge is called Professor S. (sassy) and you can get her   HERE.

I coloured the image with copic ciao pens and have used one of my new backing papers for this card from the Vintage Rose pad.  The die cut shape that she is set upon is a pre cut from docraft papermania capsule collection.  Button, Ribbon and twine from stash and the swirl was a freebie i got when i bought some doilies from ebay, so if anyone recognizes the swirl i would love to know as it is a beauty.

Whoopsi Daisy DT - Tag it or Anything Goes with a WD image.

Good morning all here is my latest DT entry for Whoopsi Daisy Challenge Tag It or Anything Goes with a Whoopsi Daisy Image.


 For this Project i have used a Freebie from Whoopsi Daisy called Sweep

I have entered this tag into the following Challenges.

I made the background of the tab with Tm Holtz alcohol inks and coloured the image with Copics.
the tiny leaves are made from bit that have come out of a die i have and were the perfect size and shape.  The bronzed leaves at the top of the tag are part of a candy that i won from a Joanna Sheen blog hop.The green beaded pin from stash.

Black and White

I sat and made the flowers on this card this morning and wondered what i could use them on, then i saw the  black and white - Perfect start for my card to enter into the  .Joanna Sheen Black and White Challenge

Flowers were made using Cricut Flower Shoppe.  I made the flowers by following this tutorial  A passion For Card Making  I didn't have the punch so i compromised and used my Cricut Flower Shoppe and got this result, and very pleased i was too.

One for Joanna Sheen Challenge 3-2-1

I made this card specially for the Joanna Sheen 3-2-1 Challenge yesterday afternoon i just hope it covers the criteria.


 Some of you may recognise the stamp i used here as it was a freebie from docrafts creativity magazine.

I fell in love with the stamp the minute i saw it as it is so elegant.  The papers i have used are K-ology by K&Company the flocked strip down the left hand side is by Laura Ashley and the Maroon paper is from stash. The gorgeous feathers are marabou & Guinea the flowers and Brad are from stash.

These three cards were all made from Kits as i needed a few for my stash that were suitable for different occasions.




The First two are made from a Kan ban kit for men which is something i really struggle with and the third one is a Hunky Dory Kit and i know who the third one is for already.
